List Of Cities And Regencies In Banten Province


As already mentioned in my article entitled "List Of Province In Indonesia" that the province of Banten is divided into 8 cities and regencies. Where 4 of them are regencies and the remaining 4 are cities. In this article, I will give you the list of those cities and regencies existing in Banten province. But, let me tell you first what is the differences between city and regency. Briefly, the differences between cities and regencies can be seen from the life of the residents, where the residents of a city are usually more develop than the resident of a regency. Other than that, there are still some point that becomes differences between city and regency.

Here are the difference between city and regency that I present in table form:

1. Lebak Regency 

Lebak Regency is one of regencies in Banten province whose its central goverment located in Rangkasbitung. Lebak Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Iti Octavia Jayabaya. Lebak Regency has an area of 3427 km2 which divided into 28 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 28 districts are then divided again into 345 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

2. Pandeglang Regency 

Pandeglang Regency is one of regencies in Banten province whose its central goverment located in Pandeglang district. Pandeglang Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Irna Nurlita. South Pandeglang Regency has an area of 2747 km2 which divided into 35 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 35 districts are then divided again into 339 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

3. Serang Regency 

Serang Regency is one of regencies in Banten province whose its central goverment located in Ciruas district. Serang Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Ratu Tatu Chasanah. Serang Regency has an area of 1734 km2 which divided into 29 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 29 districts are then divided again into 326 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

4. Tangerang Regency 

Tangerang Regency is one of regencies in Banten province whose its central goverment located in Tigaraksa district. Tangerang Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Ahmed Zaki Iskandar. East Lampung Regency has an area of 959,6 km2 which divided into 29 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 29 districts are then divided again into 274 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

5. Cilegon City

Cilegon City is the one of cities in Banten province. Cilegon City is currently led by a mayor which name is Tubagus Iman Ariyadi. Cilegon City has an area of 175 km2 which divided into 8 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 8 districts are then divided again into 43 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

6. Serang City

Serang City is the one of cities in Banten province. Serang City is currently led by a mayor which name is Tubagus Chaerul Jaman. Serang City has an area of 267 km2 which divided into 6 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 6 districts are then divided again into 66 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

7. Tangerang City

Tangerang City is the one of cities in Banten province. Tangerang City is currently led by a mayor which name is Arief Rachmadiono Wismansyah. Tangerang City has an area of 164,5 km2 which divided into 13 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 13 districts are then divided again into 104 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

8. South Tangerang City

South Tangerang City is the one of cities in Banten province. South Tangerang City is currently led by a mayor which name is Airin Rachmi Diany. South Tangerang City has an area of 147,2 km2 which divided into 7 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 7 districts are then divided again into 54 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

List Of Cities And Regencies In Lampung Province

As already mentioned in my article entitled "List Of Province In Indonesia" that the province of Lampung is divided into 15 cities and regencies. Where 13 of them are regencies and the remaining 2 are cities. In this article, I will give you the list of those cities and regencies existing in Lampung province. But, let me tell you first what is the differences between city and regency. Briefly, the differences between cities and regencies can be seen from the life of the residents, where the residents of a city are usually more develop than the resident of a regency. Other than that, there are still some point that becomes differences between city and regency.

Here are the difference between city and regency that I present in table form:

1. West Lampung Regency 

West Lampung Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Liwa. West Lampung is currently led by a regent which name is Parosil Mabsus. West Lampung Regency has an area of 2141 km2 which divided into 15 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 15 districts are then divided again into 136 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

2. South Lampung Regency 

South Lampung Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Kalianda. South Lampung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Zainudin Hasan. South Lampung Regency has an area of 2007 km2 which divided into 17 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 17 districts are then divided again into 251 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

3. Central Lampung Regency 

Central Lampung Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Gunung Sugih district. Central Lampung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Mustafa. Central Lampung Regency has an area of 4789 km2 which divided into 28 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 28 districts are then divided again into 311 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

4. East Lampung Regency 

East Lampung Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Sukadana. East Lampung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Chusnunia Chalim. East Lampung Regency has an area of 5325 km2 which divided into 24 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 24 districts are then divided again into 264 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

5. North Lampung Regency 

North Lampung Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Kotabumi district. North Lampung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara. North Lampung Regency has an area of 2725 km2 which divided into 23 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 23 districts are then divided again into 247 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

6. Mesuji Regency 

Mesuji Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Mesjui district. Mesuji Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Khamamik. Mesuji Regency has an area of 2184 km2 which divided into 7 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 7 districts are then divided again into 105 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

7. Pesawaran Regency 

Pesawaran Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Gedong Tataan district. Pesawaran Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Dendi Ramadhona. Pesawaran Regency has an area of 2243 km2 which divided into 11 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 11 districts are then divided again into 144 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

8. Pesisir Barat Regency 

Pesisir Barat Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Krui. Pesisir Barat Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Agus Istiqlal. Pesisir Barat Regency has an area of 2953 km2 which divided into 11 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 11 districts are then divided again into 118 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

9. Pringsewu Regency 

Pringsewu Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Pringsewu district. Pringsewu Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Sujadi Saddat. Pringsewu Regency has an area of 625 km2 which divided into 9 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 9 districts are then divided again into 131 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

10. Tanggamus Regency 

Tanggamus Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Kota Agung district. Tanggamus Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Samsul Hadi. Tanggamus Regency has an area of 4654 km2 which divided into 20 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 20 districts are then divided again into 296 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

11. Tulang Bawang Regency 

Tulang Bawang Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Menggala. Tulang Bawang Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Winarti. Tulang Bawang Regency has an area of 3466 km2 which divided into 16 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 16 districts are then divided again into 151  sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

12. West Tulang Bawang Regency 

West Tulang Bawang Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Central Tulang Bawang district. West Tulang Bawang Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Umar Ahmad. West Tulang Bawang Regency has an area of 1201 km2 which divided into 8 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 8 districts are then divided again into 96 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

13. Way Kanan Regency 

Way Kanan Regency is one of regencies in Lampung province whose its central goverment located in Blambangan Umpu. Way Kanan Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Raden Adipati Surya. Way Kanan Regency has an area of 3921 km2 which divided into 14 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 14 districts are then divided again into 227 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

14. Bandar Lampung City

Bandar Lampung City is the one of cities in Lampung province. Bandar Lampung City is currently led by a mayor which name is Herman HN. Bandar Lampung City has an area of 169,2 km2 which divided into 20 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 20 districts are then divided again into 126 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

15. Metro City

Metro City is the one of cities in Lampung province. Metro City is currently led by a mayor which name is A. Pairin. Metro City has an area of 68,74 km2 which divided into 5 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 5 districts are then divided again into 22 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

But, let me tell you first what is the differences between city and regency. 3. Lahat Regency 

Lahat Regency is one of regencies in South Sumatra province whose its central goverment located in Lahat district. Lahat Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Saifudin Aswari Rifai. 4. Muara Enim Regency

5. Musi Banyuasin Regency

6. Musi Rawas Regency

7. North Musi Rawas Regency 

North Musi Rawas Regency is one of regencies in South Sumatra province whose its central goverment located in Rupit. 8. Ogan Ilir Regency

13. Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency 

Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency is one of regencies in South Sumatra province whose its central goverment located in Talang Ubi. Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Heri Armalindo. Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency has an area of 1840 km2 which divided into 5 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 5 districts are then divided again into 71  sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

14. Lubuklinggau City

Lubuklinggau City is the one of cities in South Sumatra province. Lubuklinggau is currently led by a mayor which name is SN Prana Putra Sohe. Lubuklinggau City has an area of 401,5 km2 which divided into 8 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 8 districts are then divided again into 72 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

15. Pagar Alam City

Pagar Alam City is the one of cities in South Sumatra province. Pagar Alam is currently led by a mayor which name is Ida Fitriati Basjuni. Pagar Alam City has an area of 633,6 km2 which divided into 5 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 5 districts are then divided again into 35 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

16. Palembang City

Palembang is the one of cities in South Sumatra province. Palembang is currently led by a mayor which name is Harnojoyo. Palembang City has an area of 358,5 km2 which divided into 18 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 18 districts are then divided again into 107 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

17. Prabumulih City

Prabumulih is the one of cities in South Sumatra province. Prabumulih is currently led by a mayor which name is Ridho Yahya. Prabumulih City has an area of 435,1 km2 which divided into 6 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 6 districts are then divided again into 37 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

8. Rejang Lebong Regency 

Rejang Lebong Regency is one of regencies in Bengkulu province whose its central goverment located in Curup. Rejang Lebong Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Ahmad Hijazi. Rejang Lebong Regency has an area of 1476 km2 which divided into 15 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 15 districts are then divided again into 256 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

9. Seluma Regency 

Seluma Regency is one of regencies in Bengkulu province whose its central goverment located in Tais. Seluma Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Bundra Jaya. Seluma Regency has an area of 6461 km2 which divided into 14 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 14 districts are then divided again into 202 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa"). 

10. Bengkulu City

Bengkulu City is the only one city in Bengkulu province. Bengkulu City is currently led by a mayor which name is Helmi Hasan. Bengkulu City has an area of 144,5 km2 which divided into 9 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 9 districts are then divided again into 67 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

List Of Cities And Regencies In Jambi Province

As already mentioned in my article entitled "List Of Province In Indonesia" that the province of Jambi is divided into 11 cities and regencies. Where 9 of them are regencies and the remaining 2 are cities. In this article, I will give you the list of those cities and regencies existing in Jambi province. But, let me tell you first what is the differences between city and regency. Briefly, the differences between cities and regencies can be seen from the life of the residents, where the residents of a city are usually more develop than the resident of a regency. Other than that, there are still some point that becomes differences between city and regency.

Here are the difference between city and regency that I present in table form:

1. Batanghari Regency 

Batanghari Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Muara Bulian. Batanghari Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Syahirsah. Batanghari Regency has an area of 5804 km2 which divided into 8 districts (we call it "kecamatan").

2. Bungo Regency 

Bungo Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Muara Bungo. Bungo Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Mashuri. Bungo Regency has an area of 4659 km2 which divided into 17 districts (we call it "kecamatan").

3. Kerinci Regency 

Kerinci Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Siulak. Kerinci Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Adirozal. Kerinci Regency has an area of 3808 km2 which divided into 16 districts (we call it "kecamatan").

4. Merangin Regency 

Merangin Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Bangko. Merangin is currently led by a regent which name is Al Haris. Merangin has an area of 7679 km2 which divided into 24 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 24 districts are then divided again into 213 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

5. Muaro Jambi Regency 

Muaro Jambi Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Sengeti. Muaro Jambi Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Masnah Busro. Muaro Jambi Regency has an area of 5326 km2 which divided into 11 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 11 districts are then divided again into 151 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

6. Sarolangun Regency 

Sarolangun Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Sarolangun District. Sarolangun Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Cek Endra. Sarolangun Regency has an area of 6184 km2 which divided into 10 districts (we call it "kecamatan").

7. West Tanjung Jabung Regency 

West Tanjung Jabung Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Kuala Tungkal. West Tanjung Jabung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Safrial. West Tanjung Jabung Regency has an area of 4650 km2 which divided into 13 districts (we call it "kecamatan").

8. East Tanjung Jabung Regency 

East Tanjung Jabung Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Muara Sabak. East Tanjung Jabung Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Romi Hariyanto. East Tanjung Jabung Regency has an area of 5445 km2 which divided into 11 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 11 districts are then divided again into 93 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

9. Tebo Regency 

Tebo Regency is one of regencies in Jambi province whose its central goverment located in Pasir Muara. Tebo Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Sukandar. Tebo Regency has an area of 6461 km2 which divided into 12 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 12 districts are then divided again into 112 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa"). 

10. Jambi City

Jambi City is one of cities in Jambi province. Jambi City is currently led by a mayor which name is Syarif Fasha. Jambi City has an area of 205,4 km2 which divided into 11 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 11 districts are then divided again into 62 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

12. Sungai Penuh City

Sungaipenuh City is one of cities in Jambi province. Sungaipenuh City is currently led by a mayor which name is Asafri Jaya Bakri. Sungaipenuh City has an area of 391 km2 which divided into 5 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 5 districts are then divided again into 69 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

Where 5 of them are regencies and the remaining 2 are cities. In this article, I will give you the list of those cities and regencies existing in Riau Island (Kepulauan Riau) province. But, let me tell you first what is the differences between city and regency. Briefly, the differences between cities and regencies can be seen from the life of the residents, where the residents of a city are usually more develop than the resident of a regency. 1. Bintan Kepuluan Regency 

Bintan Kepulauan Regency is one of regencies in Riau Island province whose its central goverment located in Kota Kijang. Bintan Kepulauan Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Apri Sujadi. Bintan Kepulauan Regency has an area of 60.057 km2 which divided into 10 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 10 districts are then divided again into 51 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

2. Karimun Regency 

Karimun Regency is one of regencies in Riau Island province whose its central goverment located in Tanjung Balai Karimun. Karimun Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Aunur Rafiq. Karimun Regency has an area of 920 km2 which divided into 12 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 12 districts are then divided again into 71 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

3. Lingga Regency 

Lingga Regency is one of regencies in Riau Island province whose its central goverment located in Daik. Lingga Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Alias Wello. Lingga Regency has an area of 211.772 km2 which divided into 10 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 10 districts are then divided again into 82 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

4. Anambas Island (Kepulauan Anabas) Regency 

Anambas Island Regency is one of regencies in Riau Island province whose its central goverment located in Tarempa. Anambas Island Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Abdul Harris. Anambas Island Regency has an area of 631 km2 which divided into 7 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 7 districts are then divided again into 54 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

5. Natuna Regency 

Natuna Regency is one of regencies in Riau Island province whose its central goverment located in Ranai. Natuna Regency is currently led by a regent which name is Hamid Rizal. Natuna Regency has an area of 2.009 km2 which divided into 15 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 15 districts are then divided again into 76 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

6. Batam City

Batam City is one of cities in Riau Island province. Batam City is currently led by a mayor which name is Muhammad Rudi. Batam City has an area of 415 km2 which divided into 12 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 12 districts are then divided again into 64 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").

7. Tanjung Pinang City

Tanjung Pinang City is one of cities in Riau Island province. Tanjung Pinang is capital city of Riau Island Province. Tanjung Pinang City is currently led by a mayor which name is Lis Darmansyah. Tanjung Pinang City has an area of 239 km2 which divided into 4 districts (we call it "kecamatan"). Those 4 districts are then divided again into 18 sub-district (we call it "kelurahan/desa").
